I’ll be doing a condensed version of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s CINDERELLA next week for a local Children’s Hospital. And I won’t be playing the Prince. I’ll be playing the King. (My theory is because when we were all little kids anyone over 12 seemed to be a grown-up. And while I’m still young enough to play the Prince in the real world, kids don’t give a rat’s ass who’s playing who. They’ve got enough imagination to pretend ANYTHING is possible. And, well, I am a few years past 12….)
The show will be directed by my friend Tara Smith (producer of XANADU and book writer of the musical PIECE). Tara and I have the same mentor, so I am excited to be working together for the first time. The show is produced by Shifting Ground Productions.
Also, my mom will be in town next week, so I’m hoping that she can tag along too, since her visits and my shows never seem to coincide
